I attended a one week in-depth work placement that gave me an opportunity to visit many laboratories around many manufacturing suites, including departments such as process development, manufacturing, quality assurance and quality control. It also allowed me to talk to a variety of different workers to gain an insight of how people work and communicate to make sure their customer has a well-developed product at the end. It revealed FUJIFILM’s commitment into aiding other companies to enhance the community and the environment.

I represented Macmillan Academy as an ICT expert which involved me sharing my passion and love for technology and how it has shaped our modern world with students and parents at official events. Also providing students with the opportunity to ask questions in relation to the course.

Two weeks work experience involved: -Reading stories and singing songs to the children -Playing games with the children -Assisting with arts and crafts for the children -Overseeing the day-to-day activities taking place -Submitting reports of the activities taking place -Monitoring free, supplementary meals to ensure cleanliness of the facility and that eligibility guidelines are met for children’s receiving meals
