- anonymous transfer student Hi all, I wanted to consult with you about my problem that actually seems really frustrating these days for me. I'm a first-year grad student in Pharmaceutical Sciences at X University. Our department does not offer rotations so when I came to there I knew who would be my advisor. He actually emailed me before getting admission, asking me to join his lab. At that time, I was told that I can change my lab if I want but I figured out It is almost impossible in the second semester. My advisor has shown dozens of discrimination acts during these two semesters and I'm pretty sure I couldn't survive with him. I know I have only one way which is applying again. However, I'm a bit afraid to not get an acceptance since I can't ask him for a recommendation letter. I already have a master degree in Chemistry. I'm also interested in biomedical science too. Do you think to change my major would be easier to get admitted? {{ 1496193115498+1-1 | date : 'short' }} general
