Selecting a Law School
My LSAT score is low (2x)... so I am thinking about applying to a school that I can get into and then transferring ... is that possible, if so how does that work? How will a school in the top 20 view a transfer from a school in the bottom 100?

- Kofi Kankam expert Transferring is really difficult especially into a top 20 program from a lower-tier one. You're much better off retaking the LSAT and applying fresh with a better score. However, if you are going to apply this year anyway b/c you don't want to wait, then a transfer is the way to do it. It will not likely be a top 20 program that is your target, but you may be able to get a lesser-tier program to accept you with great academic performance in your first law school. {{ 1515263185145+1-1 | date : 'short' }}

- anonymous The LSAT is killing me ... I am planning to retake ... in the meantime, how do schools feel about addendums explaining low LSAT scores? I have seen mixed reviews throughout other websites and forums. {{ 1515265320755+1-1 | date : 'short' }}

- Kofi Kankam expert You have to write about a low LSAT - you really don't have a choice. Schools prefer you write about it (what happened, how you're a good student, are a world-beater in your job, learned certain lessons, etc...) than for you to ignore it. {{ 1515409436613+1-1 | date : 'short' }}
