Scholarship
My son attends McDaniel College in Westminster, MD. He is on the basketball team there and was given a partial scholarship to play ball for the school, he was recently told that he was ineligible to the scholarship after they gave it to him. He may have to stop attending school due to not being able to afford the school with out scholarships. He a great athlete and scholar any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

- Kofi Kankam expert Kim - reach out to me directly. He should see if 1) They can take away the scholarship; 2) Go to the administration to see if they will find another scholarship to subsidize him; 3) Notify him that he will have to drop out. If he is a good student, they will likely do what they can to help him. Do these things and then reach out to me and let me know how things went. {{ 1489167144639+1-1 | date : 'short' }}

- Eric Allen expert @kim.1 to add on to what Kofi said, I would definitely check to make sure there was nothing going on with your son at college - make sure his grades are up to par, make sure there were no incidents on campus, etc. There are often conditions to a scholarship and if they're having issues with a student-athlete, they can exercise those "out clauses". That may not be the case here, but parents tend to assume nothings going wrong without asking the probing questions necessary to figure out the "real" situation. Assuming that is OK, I would say that you may need to schedule some time to show up on campus. Being present and being an advocate in front of a dean and/or athletic director can make all the difference. Keep pushing and we wish you the best of luck. Feel free to reach out to any of us (personally or on this thread) to get more info. @Savena Wright {{ 1489242783081+1-1 | date : 'short' }}

Daniel, what kind of program are you going for? MS in HR or MBA with a focus in HR? Best way to get a scholarship in either is to perform well on standardized test (GRE / GMAT), perform well academically and put together a killer application. If you want coaching support, check out www.admitadvantage.com Hope that helps! @Kofi Kankam
