The grades I received in my science courses do not reflect my interest, knowledge, and passion in medicine. My academic advisor suggested I participate in a post-baccalaureate program. Would this help my chances of getting into med school? What are the best post-baccalaureate programs?
Hi Alexander. A postbac program will enhance your candidacy if your academic record doesn't reflect your ability and passion. It's hard to answer the question about the best postbac program without more information - you want to assess different schools based on the type of program (basic pre-med requirements vs advanced science), reputation of school, linkage programs, etc. There are some good resources out there to help you - I'd start with AAMC's each tool: https://apps.aamc.org/postbac/#/index
