MS IN MIS FROM US
#Carnegie Mellon University
Hi Team,
I have done my BTech in Electronics and Communication in 2014 and recently working in Infosys Ltd having 1 year of work experience as a System Engineer.
My Profile:
10th- 85.8%
12th- 86.2%
BTech- 72%
GRE- Yet to be taken
I want to enquire about scope, job opportunities, top universities etc. for MS in MIS from US to get a better picture. It would be of great help.
Also I want to know that can I pursue MS in MIS from top universities being a BTech graduate in ECE but working in Infosys Ltd(IT industry).
Waiting for your reply....

- Kofi Kankam expert Hi Harpeet - that is quite a list of questions! Your time in Infosys will be helpful and you will be regarded as having two years of experience since by the time you start, it will be two years. Your GRE will greatly determine the opportunities that you have, but your strong percentage positions you well. You can definitely make a strong push to the top MIS programs. {{ 1430225369499+1-1 | date : 'short' }} my anonymous likes this

- anonymous @kofi.kankam....Can u please tell me which course is better....MS in MIS or MS in MEM in manufacturing in terms of scope, job opportunities in US? {{ 1430880158677+1-1 | date : 'short' }}

- Eric Allen expert I'll chime in on this. The MIS is a broader, more technology-focused degree, so it's going to give you a broader appeal; the MEM in manufacturing is very technical, but could get you a better job in that field (i.e. working on a manufacturing line for instance). It's really all about what you want to do AND the specifics of the program. I would look at the program statistics (ask for it or search under career services) to see where the programs are placing people. Good luck w/ CMU. {{ 1430927949077+1-1 | date : 'short' }}
