anonymous high school foreign exchange How can spending my junior year in high school in a forieng country make me more likely to get into a competitive school like Smith College in Northampton MA? My GPA is 3.4 {{ 1490729878654+1-1 | date : 'short' }} university college Share Facebook Twitter LinkedIn
Eric Allen expert It can definitely help b/c you will likely have a broader perspective, international experience and likely have some really interesting essay topics. By virtue of the fact that you will have a differentiated experience, the admissions committee will look favorable upon your experience. Learning another language and traveling are additional pluses for you. Keep in mind, you still have to perform well academically, need to make sure the school has challenging courses so you can stay on track with your academic rigor, but generally, it could be a good idea, assuming you can check all those boxes. If you fill in more of your Admit.me profile, we can give you more specific feedback regarding your situation. Hope that helps. #university @Jennie Rothman @Savena Wright {{ 1490730683467+1-1 | date : 'short' }} Share Facebook Twitter LinkedIn
