Daniel Rodriguez alum harvard app question my brother’s finance’s niece is applying to harvard. there’s a question on the app asking how you know about harvard/ did you know someone who went there. is that question just to find who are legacies, or do they actually call those people up to reference the applicants. #University {{ 1476028631330+1-1 | date : 'short' }} university college Share Facebook Twitter LinkedIn
Kofi Kankam expert Hey Dan - they do not call those people. They are asking this question for two reasons: 1) To determine if the candidate is a legacy/has ties as a factor that they should consider. 2)A kind of "How did you hear about us...". The first is more important than the second, but they do want to track the pull of influence of what motivated a candidate to apply. Good luck to your niece, btw! {{ 1476098908933+1-1 | date : 'short' }} Share Facebook Twitter LinkedIn
