anonymous Getting Your Employer to Pay for Your MBA How can I increase my chances of finding an employer that will want me to get an MBA so the employer will help pay to send me to business school? Is there a certain industry this happens within more often? #MBA {{ 1528308645608+1-1 | date : 'short' }} my anonymous , anonymous like this mba Share Facebook Twitter LinkedIn
Kofi Kankam expert Hey Ryan - it's hard, but this happens typically for 3 reasons: 1) You're in an industry like banking/finance or consulting where employers sometimes do this as a way to entice high-performers to return to their firm for 2 to 3 years after they graduate; 2) You are identified as a high-performing young stud/studette who can reach upper-level of management, but need seasoning. This is typically for exec MBA candidates; 3) You attend part-time and keep working while you are going after your MBA - thus, the firm gets to benefit from your increased skill-set. Note, you will still be expected to stay working there for a few years after you graduate. Love the dog, btw. {{ 1530074048778+1-1 | date : 'short' }} Share Facebook Twitter LinkedIn
