Does reputation matter?
Does the reputation of my undergraduate institution affect my chances of being accepted? If my university doesn't have the best reputation, what can I do to not only compensate for that..but to stand out as a candidate?
- Kofi Kankam expert It can a bit. It just puts a bit more pressure on you to have really good grades if you go to a school that isn't quite as well known (i.e. like an Ivy League School or a Duke). The best thing you can do is to excel in your grades, have a very good GMAT, and make sure your work experience shows a history of promotion/achievement.
