Alternatives to a decent GPA
Hello,
I have a pretty decent GPA 3.28 and have a goal to have a gmat score of 750+. I want to go to Harvard BS or Booth School of Business. I know my GPA is the limiting facot. I plan on going back to do my masters but I know my undergrad would still be assed. Do I do a masters or get another Bachelors in 2 years. Also would the institution I get my degree at affect my chances?

- Eric Allen expert Martin, thanks for reaching out to Admit.me . Your GPA is a little low. A few things you can do - 1. MS degree would help the case (second BS, not nearly as much); 2. Taking courses (non-degree) would help, but not as much as a MS; 3. Performing well at work at getting additional seasoning - the further you are away from your GPA, the better (to a point); and 4. Crushing your GMAT. Ideally, you would mitigate with a strong GMAT, exceptional work performance and an MS degree, but not absolutely necessary for HBS / Booth and other top schools. Hope that helps. {{ 1480082713795+1-1 | date : 'short' }} my anonymous likes this
