Question of the week from Early Decision Applicants:
What should I writing in the description box in Slideroom? The most helpful information for reviewers is the size, medium, and title of your piece. You don’t need to go into a lengthy description of the concept behind your piece. Your pieces should stand on their own visually, and the concept will likely come through without your explanation.
The only case where a more lengthy explanation might be needed is for a film clip where you need to provide some of the back story, or a collaborative piece, to let the reviewers know what part of the piece you were involved with. Also, if you’re doing the drawing instrument assignment, and your instrument involved a complex process, you’re welcome to share that with us as well.
