Should I apply to a college if my admissions test scores are below the average range?
- Rachel Day Yes, many things are factored into getting accepted to a college. Even if your test scores are lower than desired, your GPA, letter of recommendations, and essay could improve your chances of acceptance.
- Eric Allen expert I agree with Rachel. You should be realistic about your career choices, but test scores are not the only thing that are considered for the application. If you have a strong GPA, leadership in school or outside of school, work experience, etc., you have a good chance of differentiating your profile. Hope that helps - let us know if you have other questions.
