GRE vs. GMAT
I know a lot of schools say they accept both the GMAT and GRE and it doesn't matter which one you take, but is it true that business schools look at the GRE as the "weaker" exam? If so, is there ever a time they would find it acceptable to have taken the GRE and use those scores for admission?
- Kofi Kankam expert The GMAT is considered the more quantitative of the two exams and therefore a bit more rigorous. If you are applying to a joint degree program where the GRE is accepted (i.e. a Masters in Psychology and MBA) then it will be understood why you are taking it. "That said", you can still get into a top-tier program with a GRE exam.
