Do schools give consideration for applicants living near the school or having a significant other living near the school?
Just wondering if it helps a candidate if they live near the school they are applying to (or has a significant other that does), since it is more likely that the candidate would pick that school if they are admitted.
This is a consideration point for residency programs, but not sure if it is for MBA programs.
- Kofi Kankam expert Hi Chris. No, it really makes no difference to the school except that they typically will take some applicants in the School's city in order to show a bit of a community affiliation. Of course, those students are talented too.
